When the world forgets . . . Hollywood remembers

With nearly 1.3 million square feet, the National AIDS Memorial Quilt is the largest work of folk art ever assembled in America.  More than 15 million people have viewed portions of the Quilt.

Three large panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt (out of nearly 5,800) will be on display in the sanctuary of Hollywood Lutheran Church for the week surrounding World AIDS Day.  You are invited to visit and pay your respects.

The quilt panels being placed for display.

You may remain in the Sanctuary for prayer during the hours when the Sanctuary is open.  Light a candle; make a donation to the AIDS Ministry Fund.

Local schools are welcome to arrange field trips to Hollywood Lutheran Church during this time.  Download Quilt Display poster.

The Sanctuary will be open daily for viewing from 4:00--7:00 p.m. daily from November 28 through December 3.
